It’s a Jungle Out There
There are many providers that claim to have had association with Georg Alzner or improved upon his original design geometry.
We're flattered.
But Georg Alznner researched and developed only one orthotic after years of painstaking work and that is the one we offer to you today.
The uniqueness of this product speaks for itself.
The Canadian government agreed and provided Alzner the very first patent for this class of device.
When the orthotic was brought to the states, the U.S. government agreed similarly and awarded yet another patent for the novel design of the orthotic.
Many arch supports look superficially similar and are touted as being easier and more comfortable to wear.
They might very well be.
But if you feel like the orthotic you’re wearing feels like nothing at all, that’s probably about what it’s worth. The Alznner orthotic does nothing less than realign and reposition the bones, muscles, ligaments and tendons in your feet and until that process is well underway, you’ll know the device is working! And that’s why we provide everyone who uses the product with detailed wearing and break-in instructions.
A Biomechanical Marvel
Throughout its more than 50 years on the market, the Alznnerｮ orthotic has proven its effectiveness in dealing with foot, knee, hip, and back pain. It is designed to place the foot into a natural, neutral position during standing and walking, and it offers support that is both firm and flexible.
Customers of all ages and with a wide variety of foot problems choose the Alznnerｮ orthotic for its performance and its ease of use. It will fit in most types of shoes, so customers can even move their supports easily from work shoes to recreational or dress shoes.
A variety of published research articles have demonstrated that the presence of a metatarsal support shifts the center of gravity over the arch so the foot can function more effectively. This puts less strain on the muscles of the legs and back, thus reducing pain and fatigue.
Furthermore, shifting the center of gravity changes the distribution of pressure over the bottom of the foot, which lessens pressure on the forefoot. Reduced forefoot pressure can in turn reduce foot pain and the formation of calluses.
Proper placement of the metatarsal support is critical to its effectiveness; consequently, we offer our products with a metatarsal support in an extensive size range, with about a half shoe size between each support.
Because the presence of the metatarsal support often requires some getting used to, most people require a break-in period. Bio Orthotics offers written break-in instructions, and customers who adhere to them experience the best outcomes. Within 4-6 weeks, customers will be able to wear them comfortably all day, every day―if they follow break-in instructions.
