Why Our Family of Products Should Be In Your Store
When you carry products sourced from just about everywhere, your inventory is really going to look that way.
The Alznner® family of arch supports all look like they belong together because they do.
They were designed to be from the very first drawings and CAD renderings to the finished product you see before you.
Other supports are so variable in their fabrication that even in the same line, their size increments can be all over the map and even different sizes look like they don’t belong together.
What image do you want to project in your store? What do you want clients to see and experience when you show them your offerings?
An Overview of the Products
An increasing number of articles in the literature suggest that prefabricated arch supports like the Alznner® arch support are extremely effective for most people who can benefit from one, so long as they are professionally and carefully sized and fitted.
A significant number of our clients and probably yours have previously used custom supports, which either did not work, or caused additional problems of their own. This can happen because creating a custom support is a complex process that involves numerous steps and several people along the way. Such and elaborate process introduces various opportunities for errors.
Many of the common foot problems that clients face arise from improper gait patterns, such as overpronation. Overpronation can cause a variety of problems, such as heel pain, plantar fasciitis, metatarsalgia, and in those with a predisposition to the problem, hallux valgus, more commonly referred to as bunions.
Our product provides support for the lateral longitudinal, medial longitudinal, transverse, and metatarsal arches of the foot. This four-way support facilitates proper positioning of the foot during the entire gait cycle, so that the forces generated by walking are distributed across the foot in a pattern that minimizes or eliminates overpronation. This change in pressure distribution helps reduce the twisting and stretching of the plantar fascia during the gait cycle, and is the reason that so many of our clients experience immediate relief from heel pain and plantar fasciitis when they use on of the Alznner® family of supports.
Although many people can benefit from an arch support, finding the right fit can be an issue for some. Feet vary widely in both structure and size, and different types of shoes affect what types of supports clients can wear. To accommodate as many different clients as possible, we offer and extensive selection of styles in a wide range of sizes. The spacing between those sizes is less than half a shoe size, which allows your clients to be properly sized and precisely fit, so that they enjoy the greatest benefits possible from their supports.
The orthotic is available in both wide and narrow sizes. The narrow design should be used whenever the customer's heel width measures less than two inches because it will fit more closely than the wide design. The narrow support design will also fit more easily into close fitting shoes.
We are confident that you will find the Alznner® line of arch supports an effective tool for helping your clients solve a variety of foot problems, manage their ankle, foot, leg and back pain and even enhance their performance in many athletic activities.
